In 2019, John founded K2 Global Advisors, a management consulting and advisory firm with a vision to help international companies to be successful in their US expansion efforts. Since its founding, John has helped several companies to develop a comprehensive go-market-strategy and strategic growth plan that included both organic and inorganic growth. With respect to inorganic growth, John worked with the executive leadership to help evaluate strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities.
Extensive experience in building detailed business case and product requirements and developing go-to-market strategies. Experience in leading product development cycle using Agile methodology and turning a product vision into tangible products that deliver value and business growth.
Education
Mike has extensive financial, technical and strategic sales and consulting experience. He began her career as a financial analyst in the banking and chemical industries, evaluating capital investments and preparing earnings and cash flow forecasts. Mike later joined a software firm as a client services manager, supporting their financial clients and later became a regional manager, selling software to the financial services industry – exceeding her sales goals every year.
As managing director at Summit Consulting, a boutique firm focused on customer strategy in financial services, Mike was responsible for developing, selling and delivering strategic plans to the largest financial services firms in North America. He focused specifically on customer retention and relationship management. He was a frequent contributor to financial and data management journals, as well as a frequent speaker at industry conferences..
More recently, Mike developed a cross-industry business brokering practice. Services included business valuation, identification of improvement initiatives to increase valuation, marketing businesses to investors, and deal negotiations.
